Kumasi-based Prophet has warned that the Vice President of Ghana, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia could lose his life through a motor accident this year if Christians do not raise prayer against the devices of the enemy against his life, MyNewsGh.com reports.
According to Prophet Samuel Owusu of Wisdom Worship Centre, there is a plot by some “evil persons” to cause the second gentleman to die in a motor accident, because a similar plot against him the previous year failed and they are poised that, this time around their plan succeeds.
“The nation must rise up and pray for our Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia; the evil one is bent on making the God-given purpose of the man go to naught; some people have plotted against the man, the Vice President, that he should be involved in a car accident”, he said in an interview on Kumasi-based Angel FM monitored by Mynewsgh.com on Sunday evening.
This is not the first time a “Prophet of God” has predicted doom for the Vice President; it may be recalled that at his 31st December Watch Night Service in 2018, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, prophesied that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia would die in 2019 if Christians didn’t prevail in prayer in interceding for him.
Earlier, the convoy of the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia had been involved in an accident on the Yendi-Tamale road, on Friday December 28, 2018 after participating in the funeral of Yaa Naa Mahamadu Abdulai.
“There was a prophecy about the Vice President that he would be involved in a lorry accident in 2019, but it didn’t come to pass though some people were looking forward to its occurrence; let’s pray for the car commutes of our father; because a group of people has schemed that he gets involved in a car accident and this time round they do not intend to miss the target”, he revealed.
The prophet who claims God revealed all these to him through a vision said further that, “in a vision, I saw a multitude clad in funeral apparel at the Independence Square and it looked like the funeral rites of a great person and a lot of people were wearing black dresses; that is the way the Lord revealed the plot against the Vice President to me”.
Doom and gloom prophecies have become fashionable in Ghana in recent times, as so called prophets and “men of God” use their pulpits to foretell the future and predict the direction of the country in the year under review.
Some have been in serious trouble and received harsh bashing for predicting doom; Rev Isaac Owusu Bempeh, Prophet Nigel Gaisie and Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi are arguably the most criticized “men of God” who have been chided by Ghanaians for their prophecies or predictions.
